Norton's Brewing Company

Studium provided comprehensive design-build services to transform a vacant auto dealership into Norton’s Brewing. We shifted the project from a non-feasible rural concept to a high-impact downtown destination, navigating complex state statutes to secure unprecedented zoning approval. The industrial design features heavy-duty finishes, steel partitions, and gates repurposed from experimental aircraft hangar doors. Acting as the general contractor, we oversaw a total floor slab replacement and custom fabrication, including the signature hexagonal swings. By integrating creative vision with investor recruitment and rigorous construction management, Studium realized a dramatic, cathedral-like brewing environment that serves as a cornerstone of Wichita’s urban craft beer scene.
